Herez Moise Kattan received his Technical degree in data processing from Paula Souza State Center for Technological Education, São Paulo, in 1996, his Bachelor degree in analysis of systems from Paulista University, São Paulo, in 2000, and his Master of Science degree in computing/software engineering from IPT (Institute for Technological Research of the State of São Paulo), São Paulo City, in 2015. Now, he is a PhD candidate in computer science at IME-USP (Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of USP), Brazil.
He is the principal consultant at Herez.net and his research interests include software quality, software metrics, green software, and measurement-based control of large scale software engineering, techniques and methods to software development and test; pair programming; mob programming; code review; concurrent engineering, research methods; software engineering, and computer science.
Prof. Kattan is member of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), ACM and IEEE-CS, he presented in Agile Trends 2013 a trend talk called Programing Simultaneous in Pairs and Illuminated arrow: a research method to software engineering based in action research, systematic review, tertiary review and grounded theory, at CONTECSI 2016.
