After some years of basic professional education as developer, architect and project manager on the dark side Jens started his career in the pattern community in the late nineties and made his first XPerience in 1998. In the following years Jens organized a series of OOPSLA workshops to explore the different flavors of Agile and served as board member of the Agile Alliance in 2003. He contributed to the "Supporting Agile Adoption" program of the Agile Alliance in 2011, 2012 and 2015 and has served in the program committee of various conferences, including OOPSLA, XP and the first Agile conference and is a regular contributor to the Agile Product and Projectmanagement Blog of the Cutter Consortium. Since 2006 he also devotes a significant share of his time supporting his son in growing up. Jens holds the usual certificates as CSM, CSPO, CSP and SAFe Agilist. In addition he is certified as Accredited Kanban Trainer, Kanban Coaching Professional, Crystal Practitioner and Human Systems Dynamics Professional.
