Stig Ole Johnsen is a senior research scientist at SINTEF Technology and Society and a Post Doc at NTNU, Norway. He has a PhD in safety and security of complex systems from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). His main areas of interest are human factors, safety, security and resilience in design and software engineering of complex systems  – in this context agile methods, software process improvement, and security/ resilience/ of safety critical systems. Stig Ole are involved in large industry-oriented research projects addressing the implementation of autonomous systems (shipping, car transport, aviation, rail)  remote operations and sense making in safety critical operations.
